The reading of Ruth and the commentary has been very rich. It has provided a deeper understanding of the love God has for those who know him. It has also provided a deeper understanding of the sovereign love of God in our lives.

This particular volume is more application than commentary, but since application is hard to come by in most commentaries, it has some real value among the other Judges and Ruth writers. GMM.

I very much enjoyed the Ruth portion of this commentary (I did not read the Judges section.) The insight into the times of Ruth, the historical background of the relationship between the Israelites and Moabites added a new dimension to the book of Ruth. I enjoyed reading this commentary.

Interesting Read with valuable and intriguing research. Great one's own research and class text.

This commentary is a must have for anyone who seriously wants to apply the Word of God to Modern application. Truly the title speaks for itself.
